We love to play with clothes at Mutual Muse. The change in season is a great time to reassess your wardrobe, let go of items that no longer serve you, and trade in for new second hand treasure.
Aiala is one of our newest team members. Her warm presence fits in so well, it’s like she’s always been part of the fam. She’s in the process of getting her degree in Psychology and spends her spare time volunteering for WIRE – a fantastic hotline for “support, referral and information for all Victorian women, nonbinary and gender-diverse people.”
All looks featured here are second hand and available in Brunswick at the time of publishing, along with a few of our model’s own pieces.
After a few starts and stops, Melbourne autumn is finally kicking in (although we wouldn’t mind a few extra sunny days in the mid-20s). Getting dressed at this time of year is all about layering; you never know if it will be freezing, raining, or suddenly gorgeous. We spent this morning wandering through the laneways behind our Brunswick store and playing with all the new stock.
Aiala is a bit obsessed with Kuwaii and always snaps up their shoes as soon as they come in. Everything she chooses has to be cycling friendly, it’s how she gets around town.
